Every year, Washington State University hosts the Gridiron Classic at Qwest Field in Seattle. This game is usually the season opener for Wazzu and it gives alumni and fans who live in the Seattle area a chance to see their favorite college team without driving 5 hours to Pullman. This year the opposing team was Oklahoma State. I decided we were going to drive over the bridge, wear our orange, and cheer on the Pokes.

The score:
OSU COWBOYS: 39
WSU COUGARS: 13
We sat 4 rows up from the field near the end zone with a few OSU fans around us. The boys did great and had a good time. Even the weather cooperated and we had only a few clouds in a sunny Qwest Field. So this Oklahoma transplant to the Seattle area was happy to be surrounded by orange and watch the Cowboys.
