A few days ago, Andy went to Teacher Kim's house for our last field trip in the 3s class. Teacher Kim lives out in the country and she wanted to share some fun activities with the class before school ends. Her children are involved in 4H, so they have a few small pens of livestock the kids were able to see. The picture below is of Teacher Sharon with a few of the children having a close encounter with the pigs. I had forgotten the lovely aroma of the pigs and the kids were so funny with their comments. Andy is in the red shirt standing next to Teacher Sharon.
Teacher Sharon and Andy were looking at the chicken coop. Teacher Sharon is the Bellevue College Parent Educator for the 3s program and has been absolutely wonderful with both the children and us moms. She is a wealth of fabulous information, tips and techniques to get through this preschool stage.
After the kids had a snack of ice cream sandwiches, one of the last activities was playing with the parachute. They tossed a ball up and down, took turns being under the parachute and just had fun together.
