Camping at Cama Beach

Mike and I have been super blessed with some great friends who have children the same age as our boys. Dana managed to score waterfront cabins at Cama Beach for 3 nights and invited us to join them. Sunday afternoon after we checked in and got settled into our cabins, the first event was a little splashing at the beach. The thing is Washington's beaches are mainly rocks and the water is a bit cool, but hey, it's the beach. The guys all had fun playing around and cooling off.

The next morning the dads went to the local golf course so the mom's were left to spend some more quality time with the kiddos. After the easy breakfast of coffee and cereal, the kids mainly just played around in front of the cabins or spent time throwing rocks into the water. Aaron was enjoying the chair that was just his size, while Andy was practicing his pitching arm by tossing rocks into the water.

The second day of our camping trip, all three families went for a short hike through the woods to Cranberry Lake. It was a pleasant walk with seven kids all under the age of 5 and Aaron did decide to take a nap on the way back.

The last evening was very relaxed and a time to enjoy a beautiful sunset. We all had a great trip and chatted about coming back again next year. There are more pictures on our smugmug site.
