Last Thursday, Andy broke his second pair of glasses. He had them in his hand and decided to throw a bit of a tantrum about going to bed and snap went the bridge. Okay, no problem, I'll just call the eye doctor on Friday morning. Um yeah, more snow, so now one went any where on Friday.
I was able to finally order a pair on Monday and decided to pay the overnight shipping so Andy would have some specs to see. I called today to see if they came in and the UPS guy had been there, but didn't drop off the frames. This snow is starting to really bug me. Mike and I had a Christmas party to attend in Kirkland tonight, so I thought I would drop by before they closed just in case, but alas, no glasses.
Kudos to the gal at the office though. She found a pair of frames that would match Andy's lenses so the kid can at least see until Friday when the frames should be there, because how convenient, the office is closed on Christmas Eve.
I'm praying for rain.
